Attention all group members!

Please read the below announcement and sign below to acknowledge your understanding:

First of all we would like everyone to know that this group was founded simply in order to have a place for all the Free Derive offer threads in the Forums and other Groups to come together for ease.
It is designed for developers to help and support each other so that we can all grow and prosper.

We have had a great time building and maintaining this group, getting to know you all, and watching you all grow as devs. I would like to thank everyone here for everything they have put into this group and simply for continuing to come here and support each other.

As this group continues to grow and gain attention, a few issues have arisen which we want to address so we can keep this group running smoothly and keep everyone happy.
Please note the below points/rules:

People are expected to exhibit honour and integrity in this group and with the offers provided.

The group itself is not responsible for individual mesher’s threads , however we can help where needed (in case of someone being abusive or something, etc). We encourage you to read the first post each time that you plan to derive from a mesher, sometimes they change and are not able to offer refunds, it's your responsibility to check it.

Each developer/mesher that offers Free Derives is allowed to set their own rules in their thread.

As a mesher/developer offering free derives, you will only get ONE warning if you choose not to pay someone after you approve them. After one warning you will be REQUIRED to give credits FIRST. If there are further problems after that, then you will be permanently banned.

As someone who takes advantage of the amazing free derives people offer, if you do not submit after you have been approved and/or paid you will be given one warning and required to refund the mesher/developer. If there are further problems after that, then you will be permanently banned.

There are no rules in this group against alts, and you do not have to reveal your alts if you do not wish to, but please just use integrity when voting on things like Derive of the Month contest. (Participation in contests are a privilege and prizes are donated by other group members. Starliteyes420 has final say on the results regardless of voting (ie, if she believes someone has voted dishonestly). If a person is thought to abuse this then they will be dealt with on an individual basis and may be removed from the group if deemed necessary.

We are aware of people who say they are not alts, but after messages recieved by officers, proving that you are an alt, if we see you behaving dishonestly you will, unfortunately need to be removed.

Finally... No drama. We have and will ban people who start drama. If you have a problem the main officers are ScarLetteChance, Starliteyes420, Anaasha and FreeDerives(which is run by all three of us). We also have other officers that are not on the forefront that help us. If you are uncomfortable with talking to us, you may send an email to free.derives@gmail.com and we'll handle it from there.

There really would be no way .. credit log sure but people can have 7-10 + pages of log. And the credits could be sent at any random day and they could go back saying they never got the credits...
I just think that's a little risky

Maybe if they have a history of people saying they do not pay for the meshes (like 2-3 people) then instate that rule?

there is always a way to prove you sent credits. always. for your safety as someone who offers free derives you should do what you need to in order to protect yourself. including signing up to recieve alerts from imvu when you send credits, screen shots, whatever you need to do to. The officers of this group have seen it happen more than once, part of the reason we are making this notice mandatory to sign is so that people offering understand they will only get one warning. it's fair.

there are some devs who won't pay the sub or derive fee on people who are "pro" devs if they have an alt that's not pro then how would they go about that?lol Seems kinda of iffy on that one to. (wondering this myself as I have an alt that's not pro)

That is again, something left up to the mesher/developer offering the derives. We can not FORCE people to admit they are alts, period. But each mesher is allowed the freedom to make their own rules and someone does not like thier rules they are, of course, welcome to derive elsewhere Smile
